Active FX Laser

The ActiveFX laser is a type of fractional carbon dioxide (CO2) laser designed to treat various skin issues, including wrinkles, scars, uneven pigmentation, and sun damage. The "fractional" aspect means that the laser treats only a fraction of the skin's surface at a time, leaving surrounding areas intact. This promotes faster healing and reduces downtime compared to traditional CO2 lasers, which treat the entire skin surface.

ActiveFX works by delivering intense pulses of light energy to the skin, causing controlled damage to the targeted areas. This stimulates the body's natural healing response, triggering the production of collagen and elastin, which are essential for skin rejuvenation. Over time, as the skin heals, it becomes smoother, firmer, and more youthful-looking.

The procedure is performed by a licensed medical provider.  Topical numbing and cooling will be applied during the procedure.  Recovery time can vary depending on the depth and intensity of the treatment, but patients may experience redness, swelling, and peeling for 5-7 days.

ActiveFX laser treatment is often recommended for individuals looking to improve the appearance of aging or damaged skin without undergoing surgery. However, it's essential to consult with a qualified healthcare professional to determine if this treatment is suitable for your specific skin concerns and goals.

Please schedule a consultation prior to your treatment date.
